Parents Make the Difference! Peer-reviewed, published educational research proves that parent involvement has a powerful positive impact on school success no matter what the student’s age—from preschool through high school.
A school is eligible to receive a Green School, Emerald School, or Evergreen School Environmental Stewardship Designation if the school or students perform the required number of activities, with a minimum of two activities from each of the four categories. The activity requirements for each level of environmental stewardship designation are as follows: a.) Green School – 10 total activities with at least two activities from each of the four categories b.) Emerald School – 15 total activities at least two activities from each of the four categories c.) Evergreen School – 20 total activities at least two activities from each of the four categories

The purpose of Title 1 is to help children achieve the state’s academic standards. This is accomplished through supplemental programs that consist of instructional services, instructional support services, school wide reform efforts, and increased involvement of parents in their children’s education.
