  • Gymnastics League Champs!

    Congratulations to the gymnastics team for winning the League Championships!  Grosse Pointe Gymnasts also won multiple individual titles - Isabelle N won the division 1 all-around, vault, bars, and floor championships, Maria N won the division 1 beam and floor championships and Michelle E won the division 2 all-around, bars, and floor titles. Gyanei' J also finished second in division 2 all-around and Brenna B, Chandler M, and Rachel R all medalled in several events.

School News:
Upcoming College Visits will all meet in the counseling center: Monday, March 30th - University of St. Andrews Scotland at 8:42 a.m. Tuesday, March 31st - Highpoint at 2:16 p.m. Wednesday, April 1st - University of Nebraska will meet in the library at 9:52 a.m. Sign up through Naviance to attend these presentations.

South Students – For those of you that may have missed College Night or may just need another chance to speak with a college rep you will have an opportunity this Monday, March 30th.  The Metro Detroit National College Fair will be at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.  This will be taking place from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  You can pick up a brochure with more information outside the CRC

If you are parking in the K-lot, remember there is no parking on the grass!  You should only be parking in the spaces designated for parking or your car will be ticketed!

Club News:
Any students interested in joining Link Crew next year can grab an application in Ms. Rabidoux’s room this week.  Applications must be turned in to Ms. Rabidoux, Mr. Pascoe, or Mrs. Lauer before spring break.

Next week the choir department will be auditioning the competition choirs for the 2015-2016 academic school year.  All high school students interested in performing in choir are invited to audition.  Audition packets are right inside the choir room door and an audition time and any questions can be coordinated through Mr. Pratt.

Students who received a Generation of Promise application, the deadline to turn the applications in, have been extended to Tuesday, March 31st. The applications need to be in to the Student Activities Office by 3:15 on Tuesday, March 31st.

Remember to bring in new and gently used children’s books to your English classroom.  Interact is helping at Gleaners Food Bank tomorrow from 1-3pm. We’d love to have you join us.  Please drop by Mr. Cox’s class, room 297, for details.

The High School States Figure Skating Finals will take place in Midland Michigan this weekend. Julia Barnes, Mary Panagos, Paige Verbrugge and Caitlin Miller will be competing in the Team event, and Celeste Franke-Joyce will be competing in an individual event--good luck skaters!
