College Board
Here are some helpful tips for parents and students regarding PSAT & SAT scores. The following link provides instructions for students to create a College Board account, link their account with their PSAT/SAT registration number and how to send SAT scores (Juniors) to universities and colleges.


  • Pg. 6: Create a College Board account
  • Pg. 14: Linking a Registration number and an Account
  • Pg. 18: Sending SAT scores to colleges (free until May 16th)
  • Students will receive their electronic scores in their College Board portal on Wednesday, May 18th
  • This includes the PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10 and SAT (Juniors) 

Beginning second semester, the new Tardy Policy and revised  Personal Electronic Device Policy will be in effect.

Daily News - May 31st

School News:
Interact club is holding a cereal box drive until Friday, June 3rd.  Students can bring cereal boxes to their third hour to benefit the Gleaners food bank. The third hour with the most cereal boxes collected will win snacks for your class.

TODAY after school-in Cleminson Hall, South will have the very first school conversation on diversity, equity, and inclusion! Everyone is invited to share their opinions and thoughts to help make South a more inclusive place. Please attend if you've ever felt excluded or if you feel as though you're unaware of the issues that are underlying here at South.

Students if you bought a yearbook please pick them up in room 118 after school today.  If you want to purchase one the cost is $75.00 and make check payable to Grosse Pointe South.

Locker Clean Out for Seniors will be FRIDAY JUNE 3RD @ 9:30 A.M. Locker Clean Out for 9, 10, 111st floor June 6th @ 9:30 a.m. Locker Clean Out for 9, 10, 112nd floor June 7th @ 9:30 a.m. GREY Bins are for PAPER ONLY. BLUE Bins are for PLASTICS. Please be mindful to put into appropriate bins!

Club News: 
Calling all Thespians! Any and all Fall Play/One-Act/Musical participants: The final Pointe Players meeting of the year will be today @ 3:10 p.m. in Ms. Dunham’s room – 401. Nominations & voting will be held for next year’s officers, and for this season’s student awarded honors! Thespian membership information and banquet scoops will be disseminated. Please be prompt and bring a writing implement.

From the Conservation Club: One small act makes a big difference in helping the environment! Despite most South students living close enough to walk/bike, the majority drive the short distance to school. Carbon dioxide emitted from cars and trucks is the leading greenhouse gas contributing to climate change! Help the Earth this Friday, June 3rd, leave the car in the driveway and choose to walk or bike to school! Let's make a group effort to make a difference! 

Reminder to men’s track ream members and those who did not complete the season. Turn in your cleaned gear and any batons or other implements you might have in your possession. Next Tuesday, May 31st to Coach Schienke in the team room by the Blue devil plaza

Men’s Track - Gear and implements will be collected in the field room after school today. Annual team shirts are in. Team photos are in. This also applies to those who did not finish the season. You will be charged for gear not returned

Some worthy first places were missed from last week’s 9th and 10th grade invitational at North. Carter Moritz won the open 800 meters and the 4 x 800 relay of Leo Smith, Ethan Vick, Conor Garvey and Matt Oliver also raced to gold. The freshman and sophomore blue devils won 8 of 14 events
