We welcome Lillie Loder and Sue Lucchese to our Department Supervisor positions:
Hello, Grosse Pointe Public School families! I am Lillie M. Loder, your new Supervisor for ASD, CI, VI, and HI programs. I am very excited to join the Department of Student Services team. I am an alumni of Michigan State University, Wayne State University, and Oakland University with my Special Education Administration coursework completed at Saginaw Valley State University. I am enjoying my 20th year as a leader in education and looking forward to many more years here in the Grosse Pointe Public School System. I am enthusiastic and prepared to work with the amazing families, staff, and community stakeholders. Thank you for the warm welcome!
Sue Lucchese: I am pleased to be working in the Department of Student Services as the Supervisor overseeing Resource Programs, Barnes Early Childhood Center, and the program for students with Emotional Impairments. I have been with the district for 27 years and look forward to working with school teams and families to provide the best educational opportunities for our students.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I want to introduce myself to those of you whom I have not met yet. My name is Stefanie Hayes, and I am the new Director of Student Services. I have seven years of administrative experience in education, and I have been working with families and students with disabilities for over 15 years. Prior to being hired in GPPS, I was a special education supervisor for three years in Birmingham Public Schools.
As we move forward, I will continue to share my beliefs that our department needs to be:
- transparent in our efforts
- collaborative in our relationships, and
- communicative with all stakeholders
I look forward to working with you. Please contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns via email at Stefanie.Hayes@gpschools.org or by telephone at (313) 432-3851.
Stefanie Hayes, Ed.S.
