Service learning is an educational method by which participants learn and develop through active participation in service that is conducted in and meets the needs of a community.

 SERVE is a GPPSS resource partnership designed to make it easy for students to participate in volunteer activities.

SERVE uses Kalpa Systems to maintain a catalog of student volunteer opportunities and to keep records of student volunteer hours.

A brief Kalpa Tutorial will show you how to:

 

  • Find volunteer opportunities
  • Log volunteer hours for activities on the SERVE site
  • Log volunteer hours for activities NOT listed on the SERVE site
  • Find your personal information and Community Service Log
  • Find and download any necessary forms
