The Early Childhod Programs consist of several preschool classrooms. The classrooms are structured to meet the developmental needs of 3-5 year old children with varying disabilities. Each classroom consists of up to 12 children with one teacher and one or more paraprofessionals. Cirriculum is designed to meet the individual needs of the children emphasizing their strengths and encouraging growth in the areas of cognition, language, fine and gross otor, social-emotional and daily living skills. Developmental learning experiences are provided within the classroom environment and therapies are integrated into the classroom to maximize the therapeutic experience. Ongoing assessment and reinforcement of individualized education plans are important components of the classrooms.
The Early Childhood Program also includes classrooms that are specifically designed for children falling under the umbrella of the autism spectrum.
