Moussa Hamka – Principal
Moussa Hamka has a
Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Teaching, both from
Wayne State University. He spent several years as a math teacher in
the West Bloomfield Schools and is an adjunct faculty member in the mathematics
department at Henry Ford Community College. After teaching in West
Bloomfield, he obtained his first administrator position as an Assistant
Principal in the Plymouth Canton Community Schools. He then spent 3 years
as an Assistant Principal at North Farmington High School before being named
the principal of South in the fall of 2014.
Steven Wolf - Assistant Principal
Steven Wolf is excited to return to Michigan after a successful stint as a teacher and administrator in North Carolina where he was most recently a high school assistant principal. He earned his B.S. Ed. with a major in Science from Central Michigan University, and his M.S.A. in School Administration from North Carolina State University.
Terry Flint - Assistant Principal
Terry Flint has been married 33 years, with four children and eight grandchildren. He received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University, certified to teach Secondary Math/Science. He earned his MA in Ed Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University, and his MA+30 in School Counseling from University of Detroit Mercy. Terry taught 15 years in L’anse Creuse schools, and was an Administrator eight years in Grosse Ile as an assistant principal. His personal mission: “Inspiring others to believe.”
Jeremy Hawkins - Assistant Principal & Athletic DirectorBack to the Administrators
Jeremy has a Masters Degree in Education Leadership from Wayne State University and his undergraduate degree from Evangel in Elementary Education with EI and LD endorsements. He taught in special education classrooms for elementary and high school. Before coming to Grosse Pointe he was athletic director at Clintondale.
