Dancing with the South Stars is back! Mr. Kim, Ms. Orban, Ms. McCulloch, Mr. Palen, Ms. Lee, Ms. Schmidt, Mrs. Wolfe, and the duo of Mr. Monahan & Mr. Campion will all be competing for the grand prize as South’s dance champion. See them show off their dance moves on Friday, May 5th in the auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 PM and tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults.

Please fill out an Honors night data sheet, which is available on South’s website or the Student Activities office. The data sheet contains the information we need to plan for the evening. On Friday, May 5th we will be hosting a presentation of the District’s Diversity Plan for any South student that wishes to attend. We will meet in Cleminson Hall during the lunch periods. There is no need to sign up. Students that are interested in learning about the Diversity Plan need only show up with their lunch for the presentation.

Men’s track team lost to top ranked Dakota 82-55.
South won the 4 x 800 relay with Blake weaver, Basher Ajbouljoud, Nate Barbish
and Sasha Szura. Weaver also won the mile. Szura won the 400 meters. Sprinters
Oronde Branch, Justin Hunter, Eric Leavy and Greg Hart notched a win in the 4 x
200 relay. The blue devils also won both hurdles with Ed Kotula taking the
highs and Matt Calcaterra winning the 300 intermediates. The varsity heads to
the longest continuously hosted annual invitational in Michigan at Sterling Hts
