Summer Learning Program Facts |
- Last year over 700 students attended the Summer Learning Program.
- There are over forty certified teachers on staff. In addition, we have several adults doing pre-service internships, including an intern counselor, social worker, and some teachers. These pre-service students and interns will be assisting our certified staff to make your child’s summer school experience a memorable one.
- A snack table is open at Richard Elementary School in between classes and briefly after school. The snack table offers a variety of foods and beverages, including juices, soft drinks, water and snack food for purchase.
- There is a snack bar open before school and in between all classes at Parcells Middle School. The snack bar offers a variety of foods and beverages, including snacks, juices, soft drinks, water, breakfast food items, and simple lunch items. No food is allowed in the classrooms. See the High School General Information pages for more detailed information.
- Please contact the Summer Learning Program office with any questions or concerns. Elementary attendance should be called in to (313) 432-3094 and Secondary attendance should be called in to (313) 432-3095.
